At Spotify, Johansson has led global growth teams for the past eight years, expanding the service's international reach and accelerating adoption of streaming music.
According to the press release, Crypto.com has hired more than 1,500 employees in the past year and has more than quintupled its user base to 10 million.
"Henrik is a rare talent who has a deep understanding of the areas of growth, product and marketing. When he joined Spotify, they had 36 million users, and now they have over 360 million. Henrik's goal at Crypto.com is more aggressive: to get us to 100 million users in two years," said platform co-founder and CEO Chris Marszalek.
Earlier Crypto.com has concluded a partnership agreement with the mixed martial arts league UFC and signed a five-year sponsorship contract with the Formula 1 racing series.

Recall, the platform will launch its own marketplace of non-interchangeable tokens in collaboration with American rapper Snoop Dogg and digital artist BossLogic.
